Lucky Seven!

Today isn't just "the tax day", it's Will's seventh month with us! Time flies when you don't sleep much...ha ha! Recently, Will has done some new things. By recent I mean in the last two days. He has this scooting thing he does instead of crawling. He made his way to this chest in Shea's room that she stores her dress up clothes in. Next thing I know, I'm seeing him pull himself up! I tapped Shawn (who was working on my pc) and say LOOK! Shortly after that he got mad. He says this mamma garble when he gets mad. This time he clearly said, "Mamma". Shawn, Shea & I all heard it. We were saying yea...as he's crying. Today in the grocery store he clearly said, "Dadda" while we were going up and down the isles. Last week, he also got his first hair cut. It was a bit devestating for me but he does look better. No more comb-over flapping in the wind. This is a big few days!

Will at 7 months

Will enjoys bath time. He has grown so much and sits up on his own that we removed the sling from the bath tub and now he gets a bath "like a big boy". See...

One way that I get things accomplished in the evening (like the dishes) is to set him down with his basket of toys and turn on the TV. He is profoundly mesmerized by Wheel of Fortune! Go figure, he likes Vanna turning letters.


His feet just keep growing. Seven months ago they were SO tiny. Now they are getting bigger and not just used as a toy. I think he'll start using them to walk in the near future. He wants to be on the go. Whether scooting himself or getting you to walk him around, he loves both ways. We look forward to what he learns next!!
