Shea is getting an entire birthday week! Aunt Nan had taken her shopping a couple of weekends ago and she picked out new summer clothes. Great Grandma Lipps brought her present and Shea couldn't wait to open it. Ballerina outfits and shoes! Needless to say, Shea wore all three of them all day. Grandma and Grandpa Godsey got her a couple of new Wii games and something that is "still on order". Shawn and I are getting her the rabbit (it can't be weaned until the end of April) and we got her some outdoor toys- Hula hoop, golf clubs and a bat and ball. Aunt Linda gave her HSM flip-flops. I know that at her birthday party on Saturday she will be receiving more. I know of a couple of things, but I can't ruin the surprise!!
Shawn had to leave yesterday for a business trip to Illinois. I took Shea into Hilliard and we got a birthday balloon and items we needed for her party. Aunt Nan and Uncle Red met us for dinner. Then she got to stay up and watch American Idol because she wanted to sing with her new microphone she bought her self. Her favorite was voted off. Over all, she said she had a great birthday. I did as well.
The kids and I on April 1.

The kids with Shawn before he left.

This is a picture of the kids with Great Grandma Pat. I took a few pictures and of course, no one could look at the camera at the same time! At least in this one, no one has their eyes closed. Check out the outfit she put on immediately after opening.
As a special surprise on her birthday morning. I put a candle in her pancake. Shea thought this was great! She asked for another one in her chicken nuggets at lunch. We sang many times through out the day...She even sang to herself while we were in stores shopping.

My pie!! I thought the least I could do was show you what it looks like. I rationed pieces out to my father. He would eat the whole thing if I didn't! Maybe he could have another piece on Saturday. We'll see! The flowers are from my parents. Shea says the pink ones are hers and the red ones are mine. That's fine with me! I got flowers, that's all that matters.
