October Playing Around

The calendar flipped another month into October and boy oh boy is our weather feeling like it. We had a patchy frost last night. YIKES! We had strong winds earlier this week that blew things around and of course leaves fell off of a few trees. The kids discovered them! I swept the ones up in front of the garage and the kids just loved it. Keep in mind this is not some enormous pile. But hey, to a kid a pile of leaves is just that. This afternoon I grabbed the camera on our way out to play. Here are the results!

Mom, this shot is for you. You requested a fall photo of the garden. Too bad I'll be cutting it down real soon.

The kids are starting to get excited about Fall activities and Shea is thinking about what she wants to dress up as this year. Could this be the year of NO princess??! I think so! Her decision too. We hope you are keeping warm all snuggled in bed while the frost sits on the pumpkins. Apple cider, Chili and of course Football... I guess Fall is good.
