A New Toy!

There is a new toy in the Huntington house. I'm really not sure who is the most excited about this...Shawn or Shea??! Shawn has been asking me my thoughts on getting Shea her own motorcycle for the last couple of months. Well... let me tell you, I was not 100% on board! What Mom would be on board with an object that could potentially injure your child? Shawn assured me that he would teach her the proper riding techniques. I told him if he could find a good deal then he needs to do whatever he feels he needs to do. Darn it if he didn't find a good deal! As always, Craigslist rocks for awesome deals. I'm apprehensive of this whole idea but I have to tell you, Shea is loving this bike. She understands that this is an early Christmas gift from Shawn and I. He wanted her to have it so she could ride this fall.

Here it is, the Honda 50 motorcycle that we are the new owners of. Will was unsure of it starting up & Chief took off running (that's my boy). Will did like sitting on the back of it.

It is approximately the same size as her bicycle. Theoretically, she should be fine. I'm still holding my judgement!

Shea is currently very anxiously waiting Daddy's arrival home. The rule is she can only ride it when Dad is here. I know nothing of how to operate it and neither does she at this point. Dad has a lot of teaching to do. I'm sure they will enjoy their bonding time.
