Summer Break

It is official, we now have a first grader!!  Shea has successfully completed Kindergarten and Mrs. Cutler assures me that she is more than ready for first grade.  Shea's report card reflects all 'S' in every category, again!  Her last week of school was a busy week!  Whew.. Just now getting time to put up a small post.

Her school had field day, followed by an ice cream social for her class put on by the parents.  A talent show which Shea says was a hoot to watch, the following we were unable to attend, the Arnett Howard concert or the Volunteer luncheon.  We also went to the zoo twice that first week of June.  Once with Grandma and Grandpa Godsey.  Then on Friday we went with relatives who were in town because Uncle Justin was graduating from OSU Medical School.  Liz, Kevin, Colin, Shea, Will, myself, Erin, Nathan, Nola and Nevan ventured on a very hot day.  Both days we had to go straight to the Polar Bears, it is our zoo's newest exhibit and it is awesome.  GO SEE IT.

They are just so neat to watch.

The kids and I stayed home from Graduation to wait for the Wolf family to arrive.  I think Colin was excited to be here until I told him the room he was sleeping in was pink with horses.  He did fine and seemed to like it.  No fear... He won't go home wanting a pink room.  All the kids had fun playing at the various activities over the weekend for Justin's celebration.  Here are the cousins on the Huntington side of the family.

Since then we've been playing baseball, league play as started, swimming, and getting the kids to help with projects around here.  We are meeting with our new horse trainer this week!  I'll try to get better with running around and posting pictures sooner!  Hope you are enjoying your summer break!
