We've had a fun start to our summer. As you may know, Shea decided to play baseball this summer. She is in the coach pitch league and is loving it! She's doing fairly well for this being her first year. We were concerned about that. She's in the car before us and telling we are going to be late for the game and have to run laps. Oh... She likes it alright.
Receiving fatherly advice...
The kids get to play all the positions so they can learn each one. Here is Coach Russ telling her where to throw it. You go girl.
In position to run to home!!
We have two games left and I think she'll miss it when it is over. However, it will free us up two nights a week. We have to work in swimming lessons and riding (horse) lessons!
June 20 was Father's Day and we invited anyone in our families that were free to come to our house. The weather cooperated and we had a nice day. The kids swam in the pool, the lake and played in the tree house. Everyone was full and tired by days end. Thanks to all who were able to come! We enjoyed it!!!
Even though it was Father's Day Shawn said he would grill. I did all the inside food. Quiet honestly, I don't think he trusted me near the grill! It's his expertise!
Shea and Nevan swam a lot! Will isn't into it as much as the girls. Maybe next year.
Will is into making mischief. He did turn 21 months last week. He's getting good at saying cheese and acting like a ham.
We hope you are enjoying your summer, it is a busy one. We hope that your Father's Day was a great one. I know our kids have a FANTASTIC Dad! They adore Shawn.
