Monday's Ramblings

It is Monday.  I thought this may cheer you all up.  It's Shea's sunflower!

It's been a busy place around here.  What else is new, correct?!  Shawn has been working a lot, I know that is not too new.  He has gotten the transmission out of his "new" car.  That was a task!  I felt so bad for him and he was so unbelievably dirty.  I now have to scrub out my bath tub.  Our garden is going strong!  See...

Do you remember a little over a year ago, Shawn built this rabbit hutch?  It was to house Bailey, Shea's new rabbit.

Well...  We rescued a rabbit this Spring and his name is Thomas.  He and Bailey could not hack it as roommates.  He's cute but wouldn't leave poor Bailey alone.

With some scrap pieces of cedar left over from a fence Uncle Justin built, Shawn decided to build Bailey a new home.  He's moved up on the social scale of rabbit houses.

Bailey is SO happy now.  He's back to bouncing all over the place.  I would too!!

Now they are happy neighbors and loving it.  We placed them so that when they are in their outdoor areas they can face one another.  Bailey's hair is growing back nicely... I told you he was depressed!

This weekend we did take time out to go over to Jen and Barry's house.  They had a party for Jenny's Mom.  It was fun and the kids had a great time.  You know how Shea and Noah are when they are together.  I caught a glimpse of them once. 

Then I found Will mimicking his Dad.  I had to stop and snap the shot real quick.  Good thing I've got this new camera!

I could not believe the guys actually posed for me and smiled!!  I was so thrilled.

I played with my camera yesterday.  I'm trying to learn how to use all the settings besides auto.  The kids were happy to oblige in taking some portrait shots.  A couple turned out really cute.

Those are all of my rambling updates.  I told you there is a lot going on!  A little down time today.  Will has to get a hair trim.  A run to Wal Mart is in order- I always dread that.  Donations to drop off.  Laundry.  Looking forward to dinner out with the girls tonight.  You all now how this goes!  Have a great Monday!!!
