Shawn has continued to be busy with work. He has even been working on weekends, not our idea of fun but, hey, it pays the bills! All of the hard work has paid off for his company. The product they demonstrated to the Government officials last week went well. They want to continue and now they are pre-paring for the "go live". That is installs in layman's terms. I've learned a lot of PC and Government language over the past few years. However, this does mean that he'll have to travel a bit the next few weeks.
He did take time out a couple of weeks ago to play in the snow with the kids. They loved it! We are SO ready for this snow to be gone. Our wish has come true this week. THANK YOU!

Shea monkeying around!

With the flooring project wrapping up, I've been on the kick of let's finish the painting. I had samples tacked up all over the living room. I finally made a decision! I had to see it for a few days in various stages through out the day. I picked Pony Tail from Lowe's. You know we can't just use any paint! We took it to Sherwin Williams and I had them color match it. My Dad volunteered to come and help Shawn with the hard part and tedious trimming around all the doors. There are a ton in our hallway. Last Saturday he and Shawn did that. My Mom watched the kids and I cleaned out and organized our big storage closets in the basement. That too is a project we started.
Aggie supervising the painting. She did well... So did Chief.

Dad painting away. Shawn didn't want to look at the camera!

Shawn has one coat rolled on the foyer, living room and down the hall. This weekend he will finish it and then I can try to get you some pictures. We are really liking the color. I asked Shea if she liked it and her response was... well... interesting. "Yes, I like it but it is very you". You? Does that mean I'm khaki and bland. She shook her head in agreement. Hum....
On the other hand, the weather had turned a corner, thankfully. It began to warm last weekend and the last couple of days Mother Nature is teasing us with temps in the 60's. The kids are loving it. Playing outside all day and Will is covered in mud. The snow is disappearing!!!!
Will loves going Weee in his swing. Plus, spotting all the birds in the sky.

Our neighbor, Matt, enjoying the slide.
